Hundreds of customers flocked to the opening of the new Aldi store on Pitwines West in Poole, when customers were given a ‘golden’ opportunity to celebrate.

Store Manager, Andy Joss invited three of his children to help him officially cut the ribbon at 9am on Thursday 24 April and to celebrate the opening, handed out golden envelopes to the first 100 customers in the queue, so they could discover which opening day gift they would receive, ranging from a 32” LCD TV, GPS Satellite Navigation, Microwave, DVD player and much more!

Aldi prides itself on selling some of the best products available and customers were also treated to a selection of delicious samples to give them a taste of what to expect from their new Aldi store.

Andy, who previously held the position of Store Manager at the Aldi store on Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth explains: “We held an exciting event to help us celebrate the launch and welcome customers to our new store in Poole, with plenty of superb giveaways to introduce shoppers to our extensive range of high quality, great value products.”

The store offers customers a wide selection of quality goods, from locally baked bread through to household cleaning products and beauty essentials. It also provides a variety of chilled goods, including a selection of finest deli foods, plus a range of frozen products and an extensive choice of wine and spirits.

Customers can also take advantage of Aldi’s renowned “specials” days every Thursday and Sunday, when shoppers can get amazing deals on a range of exceptional one-off products, such as LCD TVs, DIY equipment and seasonal items.
